Keep in mind the youth group, that it will grow and many will know the Lord through it.

Still no booth for the Honey Festival, Lisa will make last attempt today.

New set of Bibles are in, will have 800 for distribution during the festival.

Many family members have sickness and substance abuse issues.

The disturbing state of our country and our government.

Praise - State inspection at Perry County Treatment Services went very well, all jobs are currently secure. Now one of the best in the State.

The Kids at the Detention Center

I just got back last night from the detention center and seven came forward last night. A number there as always are requesting prayer requests. The most frequent ones are that God will watch over them, their families and their friends. Many are just beginning to find out about God for the first time now, so be sure to keep them in your prayers.

Beattyville Fire

As you have likely heard, a full block of Beattyville was destroyed by fire this morning. The Post Office survived but Rose Brothers, Jacks IGA and more are gone and it is a tough blow to that community. I'm sure many people have lost their jobs. Try to keep them in your prayers at this time as this is a very big loss.

Matthew 21 Prayer Verses

¹⁸Early in the morning, as he was on his way back to the city, he was hungry. ¹⁹Seeing a fig tree by the road, he went up to it but found nothing on it except leaves. Then he said to it, "May you never bear fruit again!" Immediately the tree withered.

²⁰When the disciples saw this, they were amazed. "How did the fig tree wither so quickly?" they asked.

²¹Jesus replied, "I tell you the truth, if you have faith and do not doubt, not only can you do what was done to the fig tree, but also you can say to this mountain, 'Go, throw yourself into the sea,' and it will be done. ²²If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer."

Welcome to Jackson's Wall of prayer, a meeting place for the city of Jackson KY to share their prayer requests and to pray for the concerns of our Churches, Schools, City, County, State and Nation. Send us your prayer requests by e-mail and we will post them for all to see. In the meanwhile I'll try to add Bible verses that speak of the power and purpose of prayer, and also words of encouragement. Visit and prays for everone as often as you can and see the power of God works in the lives of those that are listed. God still hears and answers prayer, and we all need to be praying more.
